Low Fat Lotus Warm Almond Latte

This Low Fat Lotus Warm Almond Latte has become my new morning ritual.
It’s creamy, cozy, lightly sweet, and gives all the “coffee shop but make it metabolic” vibes.

It’s made with simple ingredients — decaf crystals, low-fat milk powder, collagen, almond extract, and cinnamon — yet it tastes like a luxurious latte. You can, obviously, make this with a caffeinated coffee. I am highlighting this for when you have had your fill of caffeine for the day, or maybe it is the afternoon. For me, this is everything.

And because it’s low-fat and high-protein, it works beautifully for steady energy, blood sugar balance, and Ray Peat-friendly nourishment.

The secret to this latte is the nonfat powdered milk.
It gives a naturally creamy, café-style texture without adding fat, and it dissolves perfectly in hot drinks.

I’ve been searching for the best low-fat “creamer” option for months, and nonfat powdered milk has become my favorite discovery. It adds body, warmth, and protein, making this latte feel luxurious while still being metabolic-friendly.

Between you and me… this ingredient is a game changer.

My favorite brand:
👉 Anthony’s Nonfat Milk Powder — smooth, clean-tasting, and dissolves beautifully.

Nescafe Gold Decaf Crystals are my favorite of instant coffee.

Why You’ll Love This Drink:

  • Low-fat and blood-sugar friendly
  • Cozy, creamy, café vibe
  • Takes 2 minutes to make
  • Delicious with decaf or regular
  • High-protein thanks to milk powder + collagen
  • A soothing way to start the day
  • Makes a perfect “second coffee” without jitters
